Sound Bath Experience

Join clinical herbalist Liz Philbrick for a hands-on workshop exploring herbal support for common mishaps—from bites, scrapes, and burns to digestive upset, pain, and immune support. Learn topical and internal remedies for home, travel, and outdoor use, and create take-home first aid essentials including a skin poultice mix, burn spray, and all-purpose herbal salve.

Visible Mending with Sashiko Stitching

In this workshop you’ll learn to visibly & beautifully mend a favorite item of clothing. We’ll reinforce knees & elbows, add beauty to collars & hems, and enjoy the slow, meditative stitching of Sashiko. A Japanese textile tradition, Sashiko’s repetitive, simple stitching is both beautiful to wear & meditative to make. It provides strength, warmth, & decoration to worn & torn clothing. Bring something that’s in need of repair. Non-stretchy fabric is best-denim, cotton, or linen. Each participant will go home with new skills AND a small, portable mending kit to keep the fun going at home.

Refreshing Herbal Beverages: Juices, Lemonades, & Smoothies

Refresh your palate this season with herbal beverages! Drinks are a great way to incorporate fresh herbs into your daily hydration routine. As the plants grow abundantly around us, it’s helpful to know how we can harness their healing abilities. We will explore the benefits of different springtime herbs, how to harvest them, and how to turn them into a delicious beverage. This class will provide recipes for juices, lemonades, and smoothies. Together we will recreate some of these recipes in class to sample.

Magical Bed Time for Littles

Art Night Out

Art Night Out features live music, street performers, an art market with 50 vendors, food trucks, and a beer, wine, and cider garden.

Festivities begin at 5pm. Enjoy free live performances, a caricature artist, face painter, balloon artist, magician, and street performers. Enjoy special performances at 6pm that celebrate Colorado’s cultural diversity. The monthly headliner starts at 6:30pm, with dancing in Festival Plaza until 9pm. There are always plenty of great free activities for families and friends to enjoy!
